To the Comstock ISD Community,

At its most recent meeting, the Comstock ISD Board of Trustees voted to immediately terminate all current and future dealings with our Program Manager (Gallagher Construction Services), their Architect (Makers Design Collaborative), and their Contractor (*A Brush Above*). This decision was made based on recommendations from our legal counsel after a thorough review of contract compliance and project oversight.

The Board made this difficult but necessary decision to ensure transparency, protect the district’s financial interests, and uphold the highest standards of accountability in the management of our bond-funded construction projects. Our priority is—and always will be—delivering safe, high-quality facilities that meet the needs of our students, staff, and community.

We understand this news may generate questions, and we are committed to open and ongoing communication as we move forward. The district is already exploring next steps to ensure continuity and completion of the CTE and gymnasium project with responsible and qualified partners.
