Comstock Independent School District is accepting letters of interest from individuals who are interested in serving on the Comstock ISD Board of Trustees.

A vacancy has occurred on the Board due to the resignation of a sitting member. In accordance with Texas Education Code and board policy, the Comstock ISD Board of Trustees will appoint a qualified individual to fill the position.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:
- Be a qualified voter;
- Be a resident of Comstock ISD;
- Have resided continuously in Texas for 12 months and in the school district for 6 months prior to the appointment;
- Meet all other legal requirements under Texas Education Code § 11.061 and Texas Election Code § 141.001.

Deadline

Letters of interest will be accepted until the position is filled. Priority consideration will be given to those received by July 5, 2025.
