Final Exams Exemptions Students in grades 9-12 are eligible for fall and spring semester exams based on the following: The student must have maintained a grade average of:

• 90 or above if absent 3 days

• 85 or above if absent 2 days

• 80 or above if absent 0-1 day

Students with a semester average below a 80 are not exempt. Students with 3 or more absences for the semester are not exempt. Students assigned to ISS, DAEP, or expelled at any time during the year will not be eligible for exemptions. All students who are exempt from exams must report to campus by 9:00 am to check in. Failure to do so will result in students losing their exemption and will have to take all exams.
