District Cross Country Results

Posted Date: 11/07/2020

Comstock High School completed its district cross-country meet in Marathon this week.

Both teams represented the school well and continued doing a great job running this year.

The varsity girls, under the direction of coach Jaclyn Abbey, finished in third place, which would have advanced them to the regional meet in past years, but UIL has limited advancing teams this year at the Class 1A level to just two due to COVID-19.

Arleth and Emily advanced to regionals as top ten finishers.

The Comstock girls’ team consisted of Arleth (7th), Emily (10th), Yari (13th), Andrea (22nd), Isela (24th), Abby (25th), and Katie (30th).
