Well, we're 2 weeks in and so far so good. On behalf of myself and all the other drivers, I would like to thank all the parents for giving us the opportunity to carry your most precious possession (your children) to and from school. With this in mind I would like to inform you of our bus rules.
#1 - We expect all our students to respect each other:
This means keeping their hands to themselves, no name calling, no teasing, etc.
#2 - We expect all students to respect the bus:
This means no eating on the bus, putting trash in the trash can and not on the floor, not marking or tearing the seats , etc.
#3 - We expect all students to respect the driver:
This means staying in your seat while the bus is moving, no screaming, keeping head, hands, and feet in the bus at all times, and obeying the bus driver at all times.
These simple rules, when followed, will make the ride safer for all of us.
Parents - don't be shy - meet your child's driver, get to know them, and if you have any concerns please address them. I am available at any time to hear your concerns. Call the school for my cell number or approach me at the bus stop and I will provide you with it.
I look forward to an exciting and wonderful year.
